This beautiful group of young men and women helped me and my family while I was going through breast cancer. I have two growing boys, 12 and 13, who eat a lot and only want junk food! However, we fed them this delicious food and they loved it, especially the desserts! I do not know what I would have done without Positive Community Kitchen's support. Best of all, there was enough food left over for the next day!!! PS I always claimed the frittata! No one was allowed to eat it but me!
To the Positive Community Kitchen: Than you for the Wonderful healing meal you cooked for us last week! What Delicious food! Love the quinoa salad and pot pie! You Rock!!
Dear Chefs and Angels, I want to thank you for the beautiful, healthy, gourmet meal that was provided to me and my family last week. Last week was our first week to experience your food. When I received my bag it felt like Christmas as I pulled out each container. I literally cried while looking at all the wonderful food. We put the food on our dinner plates and we commented that it felt like we were in a fine dining restaurant eating gourmet food! Your food not only blessed us to have a wonderful cook-free, greasy-free dinner, we were able to use the left overs the next day (Yes, another day without cooking!). By the way, while I am writing this I am eating your apple cabbage salad. Yummy! We recently moved to Eugene shortly before my diagnosis, so my circle of friends is small. Your love and help means so much to me. It helps me in soooooo many ways, It is so nice to not have to cook dinner or eat my daily ham sandwiches. It is especially nice to not have to eat fast food on the nights I don't have the energy to cook! I am so sick of pizza, Chinese, and greasy burgers!!! You all are awesome and are angels in disguise! Thank you so, so much!
