Your love and help means so much to me
Dear Chefs and Angels,
I want to thank you for the beautiful, healthy, gourmet meal that was provided to me and my family last week. Last week was our first week to experience your food. When I received my bag it felt like Christmas as I pulled out each container. I literally cried while looking at all the wonderful food. We put the food on our dinner plates and we commented that it felt like we were in a fine dining restaurant eating gourmet food!
Your food not only blessed us to have a wonderful cook-free, greasy-free dinner, we were able to use the left overs the next day (Yes, another day without cooking!). By the way, while I am writing this I am eating your apple cabbage salad. Yummy!
We recently moved to Eugene shortly before my diagnosis, so my circle of friends is small. Your love and help means so much to me. It helps me in soooooo many ways, It is so nice to not have to cook dinner or eat my daily ham sandwiches. It is especially nice to not have to eat fast food on the nights I don't have the energy to cook! I am so sick of pizza, Chinese, and greasy burgers!!!
You all are awesome and are angels in disguise! Thank you so, so much!
It has been so helpful and has meant so much to our entire family
Dear PCK staff and food team,
Many thanks for all the deliciously prepared meals. We greatly appreciate your efforts and kindness. It has been so helpful and has meant so much to our entire family.
All the best and blessings to all.
Helped us on the road to recovery
Dear Positive Community Kitchen,
Thank you for weeks of delicious vegi. meals for our family. It was an absolute joy to receive them every Monday - and helped us on the road to recovery. We are very lucky in Eugene to have such compassionate folks cooking and delivering. You all are the best!
Dinner was superb with the Lemon Herb Crusted Chicken.
Your caring is appreciated.
Every week is better
What wonderful food from a blessed kitchen staff - Thank you for sharing your kindness and delicious offerings with our house! We are healing & every week is better!
May your program continue to grow
Positive Community Kitchen,
Please accept my profound gratitude for the generosity you have all extended us during this difficult time. When we first started with you, I couldn't imagine that soon your gift of nourishment would become such a life saver. Jan's illness exploded in the last few weeks, leaving little time or energy for anything else. May your program continue to grow.
To the Positive Community Kitchen:
Than you for the Wonderful healing meal you cooked for us last week! What Delicious food! Love the quinoa salad and pot pie!
What an amazing gift you are giving to people
Delivery Angels & all the people at PCK
Thank you VERY much for preparing us such lovely meals! The vegetable fritatta was my personal favourite. My husband liked the fish and my kids really enjoyed the noodles and vegetables.
What an amazing gift you are giving to people life myself, fighting stage 4 lung cancer, and while in the midst of chemo. Cooking or even looking at food seems like its own battle. Yet we must eat and eat healthy! So when my husband and kids come home from a busy day I am prepared and i thank you all for that!!
I was totally WOWED by the volume and variety and quality of food
Dear PCK Volunteers,
Last week was the first week and I was totally WOWED by the volume and variety and quality of food. Monday was a particularly rough day for me. The Harvest Minestrone soup was the perfect comfort food!! Thank you. The other meals least through the weekend and simplified my life in such healing and thoughtful ways. You are a gift to out community and I am grateful.
You Brighten my Life
Dear Chef & Wonderful Food Team,
You brighten my life every Monday when my "angel" brings yummy and healthy food dishes. As a single senior lady, it is too much effort to cook such delicious meals for myself.
Thank you for caring for others.
Many hugs, Joy
How your meals help!
Dear Kitchen Angels,
How your meals help! Jan is less well and we have been spending much time away in various doctor and medical appointments. Even though his appetite is diminished, how comforting to know there is tasty, healthful food when we get home after yet another long day. So grateful!
PS: Jan especially enjoys the soups and rice/chicken dishes. Thank you!
I do not know what I would have done without Positive Community Kitchen's support
This beautiful group of young men and women helped me and my family while I was going through breast cancer. I have two growing boys, 12 and 13, who eat a lot and only want junk food! However, we fed them this delicious food and they loved it, especially the desserts! I do not know what I would have done without Positive Community Kitchen's support. Best of all, there was enough food left over for the next day!!! PS I always claimed the frittata! No one was allowed to eat it but me!
I'm so incredibly grateful
My delivery angel, Sally, just dropped off dinner for my family and I. This will be our 3rd week on the program. I'm so incredibly grateful for this program and each week I'm amazed at how incredible the food tastes. Thank you to everyone involved in this program. I pray for God's blessings to shower over you all!

I am totally blown away
“I am totally blown away by these gourmet dinners – dinner – it’s an absolute feast akin to what Valley River Inn would serve for its Thanksgiving buffet! …. And to think, these are actually good for me while tasting so fabulous!”
Shine Each Day!
Dear Kitchen Friends,
Just wanted to let you know how wonderful your meals are. Last week I was away and felt SO GOOD knowing that my husband has a variety of very healthy and tasty foods right under his nose! Thank you!
Thank you! My husband and I received our first meal delivery last Monday. We were both amazed at the number of containers - such generosity! Then as we lined them all up and opened them, the amazement continued at the variety, the fragrance and the subtle, flavours of the delicious food.
Even dessert! We never have dessert except on special occasions.
All in all, we would like to express our appreciation for your care, your hard work and your selfless giving of your time and energy for the benefit of others.
We felt showered with love and deeply nourished - not just by the food itself - but all that incredible spirit of compassion you extend toward all of us fortunate enough to receive it.
My husband has cancer and often this is the care is focused on him as it needs to be. I was moved to know that this was for me also. "Caring for the caregiver".
