Nicole shares her passion for the why behind our recipes and brings her expertise to the kitchen supporting the weekly meal preparations. Since joining PCK in 2018, Nicole has been able to help lead teen and adult mentors to become confident in their professionalism as chefs and in their application to lead balanced healthy lifestyles. Spending time in the kitchen with Nicole you are guaranteed to learn something new and smile!
When not spreading the love in our kitchen, spreads the love as a mom, an adventurer and marketing rock-star.
Cody, the one in tie-dye, started as a volunteer with PCK in 2014 and today leads the kitchen operations. Some might say Cody has super powers. His “kitchen magic” looks a bit like a Food Network TV series each week. He is handed a variety of seasonal ingredients, and a mystery box, and BAM! PCK has an amazing nutritious menu to teach and to create. He oversees an ever-changing room of teen volunteers & adult mentors and leads the team to success with epic play-lists as motivation.
Chef Cody is a jack of many trades and especially loves music & the outdoors. On weekends he spends quality time with his wife, Meg, volunteering in the PCK garden or traveling around this beautiful state!
Joanna trains our volunteers, comforts our clients, and educates our community with a welcoming demeanor and detailed over-site. Simply put, Joanna is the PCK glue. She wears a lot of hats here, but if you ask Joanna, that is just how she rolls!
Joanna always has an interesting story to share, a smile to give and gratitude to pass on as she takes each day to make sure we are spreading as much love as possible to our entire PCK community. Outside of PCK you will find Joanna making art, building a structure, or gardening and always having fun with her family!
Garden Manager & Tech Ninja
Meg was destined for PCK when she traveled with her husband Cody to Eugene in 2013. As a volunteer, Meg led our kitchen from one day of service to two and started PCKs garden program in 2016 which she currently oversees. Now, lovingly referred to as “Garden” Meg, she plans and implements the day-to-day work needed to grow over 1000 lbs. of organic produce for our clients. Meg is also the mastermind behind the PCK website & our go-to techie.
Meg is a self taught maker. When she is not fixing our glitches or harvesting the veggies, Meg is exploring Oregon with her husband Cody, playing music or learning and making something awesome – journals, things that come out of a 3D Printer, earrings, recipes, web based magic, the list goes on. Meg officially joined the staff in 2017 making her volunteer role sprout!
Megan navigates the operations of this young, blossoming non-profit as the leader of staff and outreach towards inspiring community wellness. “Office” Meg meets with clinics, hospitals, and partners to add the resource of FREE delivered meals to their tool kits when serving our neighbors facing health crisis. She connects PCK to volunteers and recruits people to donate time, resources, and love as part of this positive community.
Megan loves food, volunteering, and traveling. You are likely to run into her at a soccer match, serving up a meal, or chatting on a flight to/from Eugene.
